Creating a new Purchase Order

After you have set up products in WordPress, you can add purchase orders in ATUM when you purchase products from a supplier.

To add a new purchase order:

  1. Go to ATUM Inventory > Purchase Orders.

  1. Click Add New PO.

  1. Enable the Multiple Suppliers option if you want to add any product to the PO.

  1. Keep the Multiple Suppliers option disabled and select a supplier in the Supplier field if you want to add products from a specific supplier only.
NOTE:You must have also already entered the supplier in ATUM Inventory > Suppliers. You can learn how to create a supplier here.

NOTE:This field acts as a search field for all of your suppliers, and displays any suppliers you have that match the text you have entered.

  1. Enter the date the products are expected to arrive from the supplier in the Expected at location date field.

  1. (Optional) Enter a description of the purchase order in the PO description field.

  1. Click Create.



ADD PRODUCTS TO THE PURCHASE ORDER

  1. Click Add Items(s) to add a product to the purchase order.

  1. Click Add product(s).

  1. The Add products pop-up appears. Enter the name of the product you want to add.
NOTE:If you have Multiple Suppliers enabled, this pop-up allows you to search all the products of your store.

NOTE:If you have Multiple Suppliers disabled, this pop-up allows you to search all the products for the supplier that you selected.

NOTE:This field acts as a search field for all of the supplier’s products, and displays any products they have that match the text you have entered. You must enter at least three characters.

  1. Select the product and click Add.

NOTE:If you need to adjust any information about the product, click the product name to open the Product page in a new tab.

  1. To increase the quantity of the product, click the edit icon and enter a new quantity in the Qty column.

  1. Click Save.
  2. To change the purchase price of a product, click the edit icon and then enter a new purchase price in the Total column.
    NOTE:

The purchase price is divided by the number of items you have in the Qty column.

  1. Click Set purchase price button.

  1. Click Save.


ADD FEE TO THE PURCHASE ORDER

If you need to add fee:

  1. Click Add Items(s) button.

  1. Click Add fee button.

A new fee row appears.

  1. Click the edit icon and enter the name and the total cost.

  1. Click Save.


ADD SHIPPING COST TO THE PURCHASE ORDER

If you need to add Shipping Cost:

  1. Click Add Items(s) button.

  1. Click Add Shipping Cost button.

A new Shipping Cost row appears.

  1. Click the edit icon and enter the name, rate type and the total cost.

  1. Click Save.


ADD TAX TO THE PURCHASE ORDER

NOTE:

This options only runs if the WooCommerce Taxes are enabled. To enable taxes go toWooCommerce > Settings and mark Enable Taxes checkbox

 

If you need to add Tax:

  1. Click Add Items(s) button.

  1. Click add tax button.

  1. The Add tax pop-up appears. Select the tax rate, and then click Add.

  1. A new tax column will be added to the product row.
  2. Click Recalculate to apply the tax.
